Because I am a great admirer of Esperanto. Every once in a while, I'll post some poems and/or quotations in English with an Esperanto translation; with the hope being that you, Dear Reader, might also come to admire this fascinating language as I do.

Canada could have enjoyed:

English government,

French culture,

and American know-how.

Instead it ended up with:

English know-how,

French governement,

and American culture.
